I signed up for a 2yr contract. After 6 months I decided there were better alternatives and wanted to cancel my membership.

The billing company offered only 3-4 circumstances that "allowed" me to cancel, such as moving far away or medical issues. I did not fit into any of these categories because I simply wanted to change gyms. I contacted Anytime Fitness and have not heard a response. I told them a policy of "shackling" folks to a contract is way out of date, and possibly predatory.

I realize I did not read the terms carefully but did not expect there to be a "no buy out" clause.

ShackleTimeFitness is perhaps a more suitable name.

Just cancel your credit card. Or say you lost it. They'll give you a new card and Anytime won't be able to charge it.

Is a contract you ***. If you don't agree then don't sign.

What a winger. Are you a 2yr old, you signed a contract live with it!
