I was billed $39.50 last Monday which I'm a vet and get a veteran's discount; the bill is $29 every two weeks. Then tonight they tried to bill $39.99.
I would like to know why and what the deal is, because I was not notified of any other things due and I have already paid my dues this year. So I would like to know what is going on or I don't mind going elsewhere.

I was on one of your machines in Bushnell, Florida, and I was asked to get off where a trainer could get his people on it. I was on the thing for probably 30 minutes.
They asked me to get off very rudely, and I'm done with you guys; I'm never going back.
Is there anybody I can talk to about this? The guy's name was Mike in Bushnell, Florida.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They apologized and returned my money.
He showed his card and went straight to discuss issues about his membership. I swiped in and that person followed behind me. The Manager got on the phone with the woman working there, Nicole Madjanski, and informed me about the $50 tailgating fee. I had no intention of letting this person in and did not know anything of their membership issues.
They were then very disrespectful to me on the phone and gave me no opportunity to explain myself. I faithfully come to the gym and pay for myself and my wife and mind my business. I come to the gym to help deal with my Mental Health issues and Domenica was rude and disrespectful to me. I use this gym because it is two minutes away from my house.
I was very upset and embarrassed after what Domenica did to me.
I was unable to communicate to anyone else and am now stuck with this mess. I would like to find an amicable resolution as this gym has helped me a lot with my MH issues.

Be I had an issue where the manager at Elmwood Park, NJ location of Anytime Fitness, Domenica Parra, embarrassed me and was disrespectful on the phone. The situation was that there was a person who was a member of the gym who had issues with his Membership and he was waiting at the door for minutes.
He showed his card and went straight to discuss issues about his membership. I swiped in and that person followed behind me. Equipment is broken( causes injuries), cushioned parts ripped (ruins clothes), and outdated.
The facility is nasty dirty.
Manager is randomly there does not answer phone.
Wipes to clean equipment, soap, sanitizer empty often.
Water cooler always empty.
Higher than most gyms.

He stated he was going to cancel my membership without any further charges to my card.

I had mistakenly forgot to transfer the money into my other account to have it withdrawn for my membership this month. I realized the day of that the money wasn't in the account and put it in the account that night.
They were charging late fees but I was able to have the late fees dropped when I called in. Customer service was able to resolve it quickly.

Anytime Fitness believes it is acceptable to charge a fee for "Club Enhancement," that is not part of my contract. I gave them my 30-day notice and blocked any further payments to them in late October.
As of December 3, 2024, my access to the club had been blocked. I am now a member of the Miami County, Ohio YMCA.
I have been a member for over 15 years; recently, they added a Club Enhancement fee of $25.00. This fee could be charged twice per year.
It was not part of my contract. I was told by Anthony Petrosky, the Operations Director, that they had advised me of the fee via email.
They used an email address that had not been used for more than 10 years; hence, I was not notified of this fee. They have refused to return the $25.00, so I have terminated my membership.

Hire trainers that don't brag about being selfish, self-centered people. It's absolutely disgusting to have one of your trainers from Anytime Fitness talk about, admit openly to you that, yes, they are being cold, rude, and speaking horribly negative about you to other clients.
Geoff cannot say it to my face, but it's OK for him to degrade one's sexuality to other club members. There are no repercussions for harassing the customer.
When you arrive and the trainer doesn't even say hello to you, let alone respect and resolve the problem. Someone from your company needs to handle this correctly.

I am an openly gay man, I am not attracted to my trainer, he is skinny, scrawny and looks as if he just started working out nor have I ever said anything lewd to him I have gone out of my way to be extremely generous, honest and kind, NON OF THAT MATTERS though HE IS EXTREMELY HOMOPHOBIC personal trainer. However if you were to meet the two of us separately, Who has been a member of four plus years that I know outside of the gym was SHOCKED when I told him, No Geoff is straight.
ANYONE WHO FOR MONTHS NOW CAN NOT even say, Hello, Good Evening, How are you?, He doesnt say a word, ADMITS HE HATES MOST PEOPLE. Why in Gods name would you hire someone who cannot even smile, reeks of Hate and has CONDEMNED me numerous times. Geoff in Carver, MA has repeatedly been BEYOND abusive, lying to members grotesquely about me, while I was 10ft. away CLEARLY I COULD HEAR HIM.
I have repeatedly asked him to stop BUT he is one of those arrogant trainers who Thinks he is BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE. Xmas eve was the last straw beyond degradation of a human being.
The things he has said to me I would not say to my WORST ENEMY, which of course I let him know but what he does instead of respectfully answering you, is stare at you giving me the evil eye. ANYTIME FITNESS NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE AND ASHAMED OF HIRING SUCH AN OPENLY BACKWARDS HATEFUL PERSON.

I still have to hunt for a doctor to "dismiss" me from working out at a place that injures me.
Each time I worked out, I couldn't walk or sleep because my back and hip hurt so badly. They will only let you out of the contract if they permanently disable you! You have 2 days to decide if this is for you or not. For a company that is supposed to stand for wellness, they have failed miserably.
They will charge me $150 for early cancellation and a huge portion of my membership over a 2-year period. You can early terminate the contract, which includes a $150 cancellation fee, 20% remaining agreement value, and a 30-day notice, and in case you think that's not a lot, let me break it down for you: $1268.80 + $150 + $252 = $1670.8 for being injured and having to spend even more for chiropractic work.

The Anytime fitness Philippines Management has failed to effectively address and resolve ongoing issues, instead employing delaying tactics that have hindered progress and created unnecessary complications. Despite numerous attempts to bring these matters to attention, there has been a lack of meaningful action or resolution, leading to frustration and inefficiency within the team of Anytime Fitness Philippines, Anytime Fitness Scape Macapagal.
Dear Anytime Fitness Management,
This is to formally complain about the conduct of one of your personal trainers in Anytime Fitness Scape Macapagal, Renzon Hular. The trainer is engaged in multiple romantic relationships with his clients despite the fact that he is a married person.
One of the clients is in a vulnerable state; he grabbed the opportunity, which has led to the clients' being uncomfortable with continuing training in the club. This situation presents a significant ethical issue that could adversely affect the gym's productivity and negatively impact other clients and staff. We view this as a gross abuse of the trainer's position of trust and authority. Such behavior is unethical and creates a hostile and uncomfortable environment for other clients and staff.
A romantic relationship between a personal trainer and client is a clear breach of professional ethics.
This behavior can create a conflict of interest, compromise the trainer's objectivity, and potentially lead to favoritism or biased treatment of clients. Furthermore, it can foster an uncomfortable or even hostile environment for other members and staff, undermining the integrity and professionalism of Anytime Fitness.
We are concerned that this situation may compromise the trainer's professional judgment, create a potential conflict of interest, damage the gym's reputation, and lead to an uncomfortable environment for clients and staff.
Personal trainers have a code of ethical conduct to follow. Anytime Fitness must keep and maintain the premises in a safe condition. The gym-goers alleges Anytime Fitness failed to properly train its employees, supervise employees, and provide a safe facility for visitors and other business guests.
We urge you to take appropriate disciplinary action against Renzon Hular, the personal trainer involved.
This may include disciplinary measures, such as termination of employment immediately, to ensure that all staff adhere to the highest ethical standards. Maintaining a professional and respectful environment for all members and employees is important.
We also request that you review your policies and procedures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
We look forward to your speedy action to this serious matter and request to be informed of the actions taken to resolve this issue.
