Guy is running a 29 dollar tan and workout package a month no contract! Not a bad deal until you get your bill for 108 dollars! I was suppose to be charged 10 dollars for the old credit card style door opener and 29 for first month on the 1st! Instead on the 11th of March 2010 I get billed 108 plus a overdraft charge to my account.

There is also a great owner that posts tons of messages about were not your maids etc all over the place... wtf yes... you are my maid since I pay you 29 bucks each month to keep your shop in business.

great place, go here! Awsome Scam going, but not in your favor...

thank you

Monetary Loss: $108.

Location: Pontiac, Michigan

Thanks for your input Ben. It is very sad that people have to do business this way. This is the type of person that should never own any type of business and should be working a job mowing my lawn. Not even sure if he could do that right, lol.

None the less. I do business locally and try to hold myself to the highest standards possible when working with customers and clients. I also just started a new business in network marketing and we were talking about Aaron and how crazy it would be to see him join my business with someone else and be at a social gathering, lol. I wouldn't bash him there, just here!!! :) I try my hardest to also do onto others as I would like them to do onto me....

If ur curious about the biz it's www.surf777.com

Dear Bullonwallst, This is typical of Aaron, the you speak of. He has a couple business and runs them all this way, and he has a very unprofessional attitude and acts like a "tough guy" rather than a professional business man.

He also does not pay his bills.

Stay away from any of his tanning and gym businesses, as well as his howell ink refill business. Just a warning.

VERY WELL PUT! Herein lies the problem.

Consistency, training, experience, staffing, cleanliness, policies, resigning, etc. with these franchised 24 hour clubs. IT'S ALL ABOUT MAKING $$$. The owners of 24 hour club franchises got sucked into it and are learning the hard way about how challenging the fitness industry can be.

As soon as they realize they cannot break even and will be subsidizing the business and see no end in sight, the real fun begins for members! SOMEONE IS GOING TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKE! Corporates are making BANK while franchisees are wiping out. Recession proof?

RIGHT! Profitable? RIGHT! Easy?

RIGHT! They may be trying to survive with an impossible business model. Hear that?

It's the circling sound around the drain. Won't be long now for a lot of franchisees!

well, I this guy Aaron that owns the club is not a very loyal person. I have contacted him multiple times and no call backs. He was suppose to not charge me for April for a mistake on his end and still charges me and says he needs paperwork now after we had already agreed April 2010 would be free.

Also, now I have asked for a full refund and will not even give me my month back and it's only the 15th and he has shut my card down.

I don't care what any gym has anymore. As long as the treatment is fair. Been apart of Snap Fitness for 2 years and never had any trouble out of them like this.

very surprised to see this. I received a call from the owner of my local anytime fitness wanting me to take down what I thought would be my facebook posting which I did even though I knew it was a private message, but he told me that there was a google posting so I searched under google to see what it was and this popped up.

Only problem is that I didn't post this one. I posted something on my facebook page only for my friends to know of my gym experiences.

Fenton Anytime is a great club and reasonable fees. I had a issue at one point, but nothing that has not been taken care of.

I would recommend anytime fitness to all my friends. Like the equipment and Fenton Anytime is the only one that has free tanning with membership and 110lb 120lb and 130lb dumbells

Go to Bluemaumau and look up "Anytime Fitness or Snap Fitness" and read what is happening to the 24 hour clubs in regards to staffing, tanning and CPR/AED requirements. I guarantee it will put a smile on your face!
