They had my wife sign a contract on a tablet, told her it was a 6-month contract, never gave her a copy of the contract. Then she had a medical issue and could no longer use their services.
They asked for a doctor's note.
She provided that, but then they still refused to terminate the contract.
Now, 8 months later they're still charging us, and now they claim she signed a 17 month contract, and they're charging us a $49.95 "annual fee" on top of the $42.79 monthly fee, despite the fact that she hasn't set foot in Anytime Fitness for six months, and is physically unable to use their service!
Product or Service Mentioned: Anytime Fitness Membership.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $777.
Preferred solution: Terminate contract immediately, and refund months 7 & 8 and the "annual membership fee" (totaling $135.53).
