Cancelled my service with Anytime Fitness and had them all paid for the 2+ years I had a membership with them. I heard others were having trouble with them not actually cancelling their accounts and still charging them so I changed my card number so they would not be able to charge me anymore and would be forced to cancel it.

Today I received a notice from a collections agency for $244 from anytime fitness! This is absolutely ridiculous!

I was not not under contract with them and I gave them a months notice of cancelling! If you want a company that thinks it is ok to STEAL your money and ruin your credit, Anytime Fitness is it!

Reason of review: Problems with payment.

Monetary Loss: $244.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Wow. Sounds like they have done the same thing to you as they did to me.

So it's not just a North Fargo thing. How sad that businesses can get away with this!
